Talon is one of the minor characters in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. He’s also based on the character Tarin from Link’s Awakening. Both of which are a parody of Nintendo’s other character Mario. Which I didn’t realize as a kid, but now that was kind of obvious.

He’s the owner of the Lon Lon Ranch and he’s not a very good business proprietor. He definitely valued sleeping more than hard work.

I always thought it was cute that he promised Link that he could marry his daughter Malon one day.

In the future, Ganondorf takes his ranch and gives it to his evil farmhand Ingo. And until you free the ranch from Ingo’s ownership, Talon spends the rest of the time like an unemployed bum in some inn.
