The Floor is the newest game show around and I’m very fond of game shows that are based on trivia.

Nice to see Rob Lowe hosting the program too.

The Floor is a long game for 81 contestants. Every contestant has one square of equal size and their personal squares are based on their expert knowledge of a single category.

So people will have to duel and take other squares. The bigger your territory, the bigger the target is on your back. The winner of the whole thing got $250,000 while the winner of an episode would get 20,000.

The floor is pretty tricky as directly challenging somebody on their area of expertise it’s difficult, especially for the dumber contestants. But I found myself shouting answers a lot. But there are a few categories I know I would have been slaughtered in.

But I actually really enjoyed watching the show (which is now over) and it’s available on Hulu. I think that it was  funny that they kept saying that it was Week 1 Week 2 Etc. as this had been obviously filmed in one day, because everyone wears the same clothes every single episode.
