Impa was a good character on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This Impa is actually my favorite incarnation of the character.
She’s a grown woman who’s the caretaker of Princess Zelda.
While the King of Hyrule was too stupid to realize Ganondorf is evil, Impa at least had the smarts to always be ready to evacuate Princess Zelda. She manages to escape with the princess and hide her from Ganondorf.
And she becomes the Sage of Shadows after you beat the Shadow Temple.
And she obviously survives to see the destruction of Ganon and the liberation of Hyrule.
