Kotake and Koume are the Twinrova sisters  of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Not my favorite boss of the game, but I do like them in a strange way.

The Gerudo Twins were the ones behind the brainwashing of Nabooru.

And they serve as the boss of the Spirit Temple. One has fire and the other has ice. And you use the mirror shield to attack the other with the sister’s power.

The boss fight gets harder when they merge together to be Twinrova. Apparently she was the surrogate mother of Ganondorf in this form, I would assume.

Once you beat her, the twins separate.

And then realize they’re dead as a doorknob. Which makes no sense because they’re both alive in Majora’s Mask and apparently don’t remember Link at all.
