I watched the first season of Love on the Spectrum about a few months ago. I liked it but didn’t love it. I jumped into season 2 quite quickly. But honestly for season 2, I wasn’t very impressed.

I think a major reason is that you see a lot of the same faces again. While I like Dani Bowman as a person, I kind of doubt her skills at choosing a partner. But she does better this time around, than season 2.

And James Jones seems to know better about how the dating world works than last time. But he unfortunately hits the same struggles as before.

And boy oh boy, I love Steve Spitz as a person (I really do) but I don’t think he’s really able to accept anybody else as a partner.

Some of the new faces are people like Journey, who is not just autistic but she’s a lesbian. I didn’t really like her story very well because she seems to be about mentally 10 or 11. And as far as I can tell, the women that she was dating don’t seem to be very autistic or autistic at all. So it seems a little odd and creepy for them to be dating her.

One of the most charming new faces was Tanner Smith, who is from Clemson, South Carolina. Which isn’t far away from where I live. He even has a date at the Greenville Zoo, which is the first zoo I ever went to when I was in kindergarten.

There’s a few more I haven’t mentioned, but I just struggled to finish this season. I hear they are making a season 3 (which I’m not surprised) and hopefully they’ll focus on what they did wrong this time and fix it.
