Lucky 13 is the newest game show for ABC, but we watch it on Hulu the day after. I love trivia-based game shows, and this was an obvious watch, at least for a try.

Filmed in Las Vegas Nevada they try to make this as casino-themed as they can but one lucky contestant gets picked out of a bunch and gets to answer 13 true-or-false questions. Then they have to guess how many they got right or wrong and that’s what truly decides the Money Pot. This is one of the few programs where you could actually get every single question right and walk away with nothing.

The show has two hosts, the first is Gina Rodriguez. Who is better known for Jane the Virgin.

And basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal who makes anybody look short. They don’t have the greatest chemistry together in my opinion and the show does have some slightly cringy corporate sponsorship such as the Pepsi Play which gives people an opportunity to change one of their answers.

But it’s a decent little program to watch but I highly doubt this will last more than a few years and I would be shocked beyond belief if it became a staple like Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune.
