Mauvier was one of my favorite characters in Fire Emblem: Engage. He was the last major characters I remember joining the team.

I spent most of the game with him on the opposite side of the battlefield. As he was one of Zephia’s greatest warriors.

But his ultimate loyalty was with the blonde girl Marni.

So when she’s slain for turning against Zephia, he decides to join the forces of good as well. He was a very strong character with a lot of defense, plus he had the ability to heal with magic spells. So, he was by far one the most valuable team members.
