Linda Hagemeyer is a notable minor character on Young Sheldon who doesn’t appear immediately on the series until Sheldon goes to college. She has a special place in my heart because she’s played by a Wendi Malik, who starred on Hot in Cleveland as Victoria Chase. That sitcom is one of my recent favorites.

She’s the president of the university that Sheldon goes to and they’re very excited about having the boy genius there to study. But more importantly, to potentially make the money through donors and potential inventions.

In many ways, she was Sheldon’s greatest benefactor, as she used her power and authority to get him what he wanted when he wanted it. But the audacity of Sheldon Lee Cooper tested every nerve in her body, eventually.

She also wasn’t entirely honest about Sheldon’s invention patent as the parents almost missed the fact that the university would make the vast majority of the money on Sheldon’s idea. Which was also a plot point on the Big Bang Theory too.
