Out of the three main transformations in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Zora Link is my favorite—slightly more than the Goron, and much more than the Deku.

You get the mask relatively easily; all you have to do is find an injured Zora on the beach who used to be a rockstar in their underwater world. And before he dies, he can’t resist one last guitar solo. Rockers…

The Zora have been part of the Zelda series since the original game, but they got a major redesign in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. So being able to become one—artificially, at least—was pretty darn cool.

It’s a bit awkward to be Zora Link on land, but in the water, it’s amazing. You’re like a little biological submarine.

Nintendo did a great job making this transformation fun. Also worth noting: this is the closest Link gets to an adult form before obtaining the Fierce Deity Mask at the very end of the game.
