The Blast Mask is one of the many masks in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. It doesn’t hold a candle to the Fierce Deity Mask, but it definitely has its uses.

With it, you can create an explosion without using an external bomb.

I’m not entirely sure this mask is really necessary—after all, a regular bomb can achieve much the same effect—but it does cost you some health each time you use it.

Some fans have discovered that if you equip your shield immediately after detonating the Blast Mask, you won’t take damage. Technically, though, this makes no sense, since Link’s face would be behind the shield, not in front of it.
