General Scales’s Galleon is the first technical boss in the video game Star Fox Adventures on the Nintendo GameCube. Interestingly, you get to play this boss battle as Krystal instead of Fox McCloud.

Her flying dinosaur acts somewhat like an Arwing spaceship, and the back of the Galleon attempts to attack you while you’re firing back at it. There’s a lot of dodging and attacking, but it’s honestly not a very intimidating or difficult boss battle.

That said, if I had a giant flying ship shaped like a dinosaur trying to kill me, it would definitely be terrifying in real life.

After defeating it, you don’t actually destroy the ship.

Instead, you board it and continue playing as Krystal for a little longer before the game shifts entirely to Fox McCloud.
