Things I Like: Aran Tal (Star Wars Hunters)

Aran Tal is one of the many characters in the multiplayer game Star Wars Hunters on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. He is the generic version of a Mandalorian character, and to me, he gives off more Mando vibes than Jango Fett or Boba Fett. He was the first one I invested major time within the game.

And he plays pretty much like you would expect a Mandalorian to fight after watching the Fetts and Mando for several movies and TV seasons. He has the jetpack (which is not used much) and his two blasters, plus some other gadgets.

He is not a bad character in terms of power. He can pick a few people off with his blasters fairly easily, but they definitely do not hit as hard as, say, Imara Vex’s rifle blaster. However, his range and balance make him a solid fighter.

His super move is to fly around with a big flamethrower. It can be a little difficult sometimes since you move quickly and can be taken out rather easily if your opponents are far enough away to shoot you. But you can cause major damage if you manage to ambush a team that is mostly grouped together.

He is not my favorite character in the game but a good one overall. I felt I won more than I lost with him, which is key to liking any character in a multiplayer game. There were some others later on that put our team in “loserville” more often than not.
