Well let’s more say dislike than “hate.” Which I hate to say, because I really do like Namco’s Pac-Man, but he’s one of the worst fighters in Ultimate. I don’t remember him being too good in Smash 4 on WiiU either.

Which is a little strange, since he’s got a bunch of crazy moves, but very few are actually good.

Like the fire hydrant is mostly useless.

Though it is a bit better when you drop it on an enemy’s head.

His Final Smash is terrible. Super Pac-Man will just fly around and everyone typically avoids getting eaten.

When Kirby takes his power, he gets an ugly nose and the ability to summon bonus fruit. It’s an okay power but it’s rather weak.

I did okay with Pac-Man but pretty poorly versus my goals with him online. I’ve also haven’t met many players online who were ferocious with him. He’s got a good jump and dodging moves, but his power is lacking.
