Not to be confused with the Gowther on the Seven Deadly Sins team. Because Gowther of Selflessness is his father/creator. This talented wizard of the demon race was one of the Ten Commandments, but he’s put in prison for refusing to fight.

He uses his creation to see and interact with the outside world. He manages to trick Melascula into breaking him out of prison.

He was once in love with a demon named Glariza. She was killed by the archangel Mael during the Holy War. Which gives him great motivation to end the battles between demons and goddesses forever. She also was the basis for his doll creation.

He gave his doll the body of a boy, plus his abilities and intelligence. In truth, he’s really like a son of the both of them. And when the father says goodbye to his creation, it’s a very touching and sad moment.

He gives his life to put a forbidden spell on the archangel Mael since he was the strongest of the archangels. He ends the war when he turns him into the demon Estarossa. Mael was also chosen just for revenge as well. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

He died for a noble cause and eventually the world found the peace that he wanted for it. One of my favorite minor characters in the series, especially for one who had such a pivotal influence on the plot.
