Turtle is a cute but often forgotten character in The Dragon Ball franchise. But at least in the original Dragon Ball anime, he’s a lot more notable.

He managed to get lost on land for years or something like that and Goku manages to send him back to the ocean. For which Turtle brings back Master Roshi.

Which allows Goku to meet his future master and get the Flying Nimbus cloud. While Bulma gets one of the Dragon Balls… for well let’s not talk about it.

But he doesn’t really get any spotlight outside of being Master Roshi’s pet, especially after his original episode.
