Bulma (despite not having any fighting strength) is definitely one of the most important characters in the original Dragon Ball anime. And a reason she’s remained relevant in the series long after her prime.

She really was just a rich girl looking for magical orbs that could grant her a wish. Which I think if was for a boyfriend  like that was actually going to be difficult for her…

Compared to other animes, Dragon Ball is not really about sexy women, but for a brief time… she was supposed to be the eye candy.

Which didn’t seem awkward when I was a kid but now it’s an adult, it’s pretty darn weird that a grown man wrote this like that. I think she’s supposed to be 16ish at the start of the series.

She ends up with Yamcha at the end of the series but hilariously leaves him for Vegeta far into Dragon Ball Z, LOL
