Cui is a minor character in the Namek Saga of the anime Dragon Ball Z. He’s not much of a major villain—more of a filler antagonist for the early parts of Namek, before Goku arrives.

He belongs to a strange purple alien race that doesn’t get much attention outside of his brief appearance. Despite his generic alien look, Cui has a power level of 18,000—the same as Vegeta’s when he first arrived on Earth.

Because of this supposed “equality,” Cui feels confident enough to mock the Saiyan Prince. He’s also the one who foolishly informs Vegeta that Frieza is on Namek searching for the Dragon Balls.

Cui follows Vegeta to Namek and confronts him before most other characters even show up. He’s eager to fight Vegeta on behalf of his alien emperor.

However, due to the Saiyan trait known as Zenkai, which causes them to become much stronger after recovering from near-death, Vegeta ends up completely outclassing him. Watching Cui get utterly obliterated is honestly kind of funny.
