Pui Pui is a very minor character in the classic Japanese anime Dragon Ball Z, appearing only during the Buu Saga and solely at the beginning of that lengthy arc. He’s definitely one of Akira Toriyama’s weaker designs, and frankly, a rather forgettable villain.

He is among the henchmen who were turned and enslaved by the wizard Babidi. Pui Pui has no qualms about killing Yamu when Babidi deems him useless, failing to realize that the very same fate could easily have befallen him.

Fortunately for him—though not for long—Vegeta made sure unemployment wouldn’t be a concern. The Prince of All Saiyans wastes no time in utterly humiliating him.

Pui Pui becomes furious upon discovering that Vegeta constantly trains under intense gravity, meaning that being transported to Pui Pui’s home planet gave him absolutely no advantage whatsoever.

Vegeta destroys him with almost insulting ease, not even needing to transform into a Super Saiyan. The fight is thoroughly lackluster. What was this guy’s power level, anyway? Higher than Nappa’s? Lower than Captain Ginyu’s?
