Evil Buu is one of the most notable late villains in Dragon Ball Z, but definitely the lamest of the Buus that we get to see. He also comes across as a contradictory character. Common sense suggests that he represents all of the evil inside Fat Buu, forced out into a separate form. Yet Kid Buu was the original and seems to be far more unpredictable and sinister. He is also the only Buu who is not pink, instead appearing as a strange shade of gray.

He immediately goes to kill the man who shot Bee, which is not exactly a bad thing. That man got exactly what he deserved.

After that, he confronts his “good” self, and both versions appear to be in an identity crisis. I was really hoping Fat Buu would win.

But no, Evil Buu defeats him with moderate effort. Every single attack Fat Buu launches is usually either negated or reflected right back at him.

This even includes Buu’s candy beam. Evil Buu turns Fat Buu into chocolate, eats him, and then transforms into Super Buu with Fat Buu trapped inside his mind. This actually works out well for Mr. Satan, because Evil Buu completely forgot he existed, and Super Buu had just enough of Fat Buu’s influence in his head to spare both Mr. Satan and the puppy Bee from death.
