Bee is one of the final characters we see in Dragon Ball Z. This little puppy also plays on the pun in Majin Buu’s name, sharing a theme from Cinderella with the playful sounds of “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo” and “bibbidi-bobbidi-bee.” As MCU Captain America famously said, “I understood that reference.”

Fat Buu found him by chance and was completely confused. Almost every living creature he had ever met was terrified of him, but Bee was injured from an accident or attack and was in too much pain to fear the pink alien demon.

Buu used his (ironic) healing magic to make Bee feel normal again, planning to enjoy killing him afterward, which is incredibly dark and twisted. Luckily, the puppy understood that Majin Buu had helped him and instantly decided Buu was his new best friend, which is just adorable.

I still hate the moment when that random man shot Bee with a rifle. Even though Majin Buu healed him right away, that act of senseless cruelty triggered Fat Buu’s pure rage and caused him to expel all the evil from his body. Unfortunately, this allowed the dark side to break free and created major problems for the Z Fighters later on.

Along with Mr. Satan, Bee is spared from the chaos of Majin Buu. Even Super Buu and Kid Buu kept enough fond memories of the two to avoid harming them directly. They all end up living a peaceful life, at least in the proper Dragon Ball Z continuity. Technically, in Dragon Ball Super, Bee would have died when Frieza blew up Earth. Fortunately, Goku went full John Wick.
