Puu was one of my favorite side characters on the show.
Yusuke finds out that his spirit beast is an awkward blue bird.
They even share the same hairstyle.
Keiko obviously takes a liking to him, as he is really just Yusuke’s spirit as an animal.
When Yusuke was in trouble, he flew to help him.
When the tables are turned, Yusuke saves him. One of my favorite small moments of the series.
When Yusuke becomes a demon, he gets a big power boost as well. Pretty impressive.
