North Supreme Kai is a minor character in the anime Dragon Ball Z but still one worth noting. He died long ago before the Saiyans even went to Planet Vegeta. He served as an equal to Shin, who eventually became the only Supreme Kai. North Supreme Kai was a decent character for a brief flashback.

We mainly see him fighting Kid Buu alone during the little monster’s original reign of terror. I thought it was pretty cool that he fought with a sword.

The blade technically slices Kid Buu in half, but those Buu bodies are so easily destroyed. Kid Buu quickly gathers the power for a kill shot.

The old Kai takes the blast square in the chest.

He dies at the feet of the evil wizard Bibidi. What I do not understand is why he is even old at all if Kais are gods and gods are supposed to live forever.
